Peter Charles "Pa" Hackley, 61, of 15 Deer Run Road, Clinton, beloved husband of Marie (Grego) Hackley, passed away Saturday, July 31, 2004 in New Haven.
Born in New Haven on December 27, 1942, he was the son of the late Charles and Vera (Bailey) Hackley. Mr. Hackley was a former East Haven Police Officer and was an active volunteer for the Clinton Ambulance Association. He was a devoted Christian and was an active member of Calvary Temple Church of North Haven. He will be dearly missed by many, as he touched and helped many throughout his life.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Jim Hackley and Jason Hackley both of Clinton; a daughter, Jo Ann Hackley of Clinton; two grandsons, Christopher and Michael Hackley; and a granddaughter, Alyssa Marie Hackley; three sisters; a brother and a very loving brother and sister-in-law, John and Jean Hackley of Branford. He was predeceased by a son, Peter Charles Hackley, Jr.; two brothers; a sister and a very special sister-in-law, Anna Mae Hackley.
